Good breakfast. It's a quaint place with lots of ambiance, a friendly staff, and good food.

My husband and I had a great breakfast/lunch today at the Union Café. We were out for our daily walk much earlier than usual because my husband had a very early Cardio Version procedure done and it went well and we were celebrating. We were delighted with our meals as well as the service. I had a build your own omelet with broccoli, ham and mozzarella cheese. It came with home fries and toast which were done perfectly. My husband had scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries & rye toast. We both had coffee that hit the spot on a snowy morning. We will most certainly be returning as we live within walking distance. As an added bonus I was able to make my goal of 5,000 steps early in the day. Our waitress was really sweet and most efficient. This is a cute little restaurant that seats maybe 35 people and in the warm weather months, you can sit outside on the patio.

I visited this cafe and it was good would recommend when in town! The service was great and the food was good for the price point.

Wonderful local cafe that is always full of customers. Most recent visit was a Friday morning. The specialty item was lobster eggs Benedict! Portion was large very large prices of lobster and perfect hollandaise.

First of all, the minute you enter the place, you feel welcome. We had a simple lunch but it was really good. My wife said it was the best spanakopita she ever had. Our tomato soup was very good-tasty and thick too. The service was exemplary! The waitress couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. Just a great place to have breakfast or lunch

Food, service, staff. All combine for a very pleasant visit. Having recently moved to this area this will definitely be a family favorite. And thanks to Anna Banana for snapping the photo!

We were visiting Schenectady for an out of town wedding Asked Gillian at front desk for breakfast t choice She recommended Union Cafe about a 10 minute drive. Perfect choice Charming local eatery near Union College Great service good coffee ( a must for me) good food I had Belgian waffle w fresh strawberries and real maple syrup. My wife had egg spinach and cheese wrap. Everything came out on time and was delicious Will warn you the place fills up fast after 9 so get there early There was a lone as we left about 9:45 I'd give the Union Cafe 4.5 stars but it wasn't an option I don't give 5's cause there is always room for improvement Price was good too

We were visiting the area for a wedding, and the places "in town" were too crowded, so we did a Plan B and drove a few minutes out of the main area and found the Union Cafe. So glad we did! It was terrific! It's not a fancy place, but... The menu was terrific- Breakfast all day on one side, homemade Greek fare on the other. The food was delicious- Like we were told by our great server, made fresh there. Even the desserts were wonderful. *Our server was the best/made our day when she served the meal and handed my friend her lunch and said "Here's your Gyro" and then handed me my lunch and said "Here's your Yeero" (We were debating the correct way to say "gyro" -You had to be there)

Breakfast part 2!! After having an extremely disappointing meal at a diner near by we decided to go here to get some real food. I am glad we did! This place is cute, charming and we were greeted right away. The coffee is delicious, always a good sign. I was excited to order the lump crab eggs Benedict. I was not disappointed! Real crab meat instead of the ubiquitous sea leg nestled under perfectly poached eggs. The hollandaise sauce was a tasty blanket. The potatoes on the side were so flavorful and cooked to the right texture with onions adding to the taste. My husband's egg sandwich was very good with crispy bacon and a nice hard roll. If we hadn't already been full from our earlier breakfast we would have finished our meals. We boxed up more than half of our meals to enjoy later. Recommended!!

WHEN: Sunday @ 11am Not too busy for Sunday brunch. We didn't wait for a table at all, we grab the last available booth inside. We've been going to union cafe since 2016, it's seriously one of the best local brunch cafes on union street. It's not overprice, always expect fresh cooked breakfast food. Server was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of their extensive menu. She came to check on us a few times during our meal. WHAT WE ORDERED Florentine omelette Waffles with corn beef hash Poached eggs breakfast Very healthy and hearty breakfast. We only waited less than 15min for food to be prepped. The portions were so large, it's worth it for the value. I highly recommend union cafe if you're in town visiting or looking for a good brunch place to go in and out quickly.
